Barmouth

I've just returned from a camping weekend in beautiful Barmouth with some family and friends. I managed to restrain myself from spending the whole weekend taking pictures and just captured a few shots over the weekend. We had a fantastic time despite the typical UK weather which cannot make it's mind up. A windy but fun weekend, I can't wait until the next camping trip.
If you've never visited Barmouth, you are missing out on a wonderful location. Give the hot chocolate a try at the Davy Jones Locker mmmmmmmmm.

Paula & David

Congratulations to Paula & David who were married earlier today at Birkenhead Town Hall (now Wirral Museum). It is a beautiful venue and the wedding ran like clockwork with perfect weather.

You can now view more of Paula & David's wedding photographs on the KJP Images website.

Olympus Event - Chester Zoo

Today I was fortunate to attend a free Olympus training event for people who had purchased the E-510 which I use as a backup camera. I attended the event because there's always more you can learn which was the case as I discovered some new features of the camera that I wasn't currently using. The event took place at Oakfield Manor in Chester Zoo which coincidently is where I was married. It's a beautiful building and the whole zoo has unlimited photo opportunities. The day consisted of a presentation in the morning and then during the afternoon we were free to wander around the zoo with some of the Olympus wishlist lenses such as the ED 300mm F2.8, ED 7-14mm F4.0 and ED 50mm F2.0 Macro (on my next shopping list). The only problem with being able to use these lenses is that I now need them all (I just need to convince my wife why).

Birkenhead Docks

I had a couple of hours free today and decided to drive down to Birkenhead docks for a few shots, especially with the lovely weather we've had lately. There are always lots of photo opportunities to be found.

Bank Holiday

On bank holiday Monday a few of the family went to Eastham Country Park for the afternoon. The children had great fun climbing tree’s and jumping in puddles. I was amazed at the changes that have taken place and continue to take place. There’s new cafĂ©’s, path’s, wood sculptures and an excellent play area for children. It’s a great place for an afternoon’s exploration and has a very interesting history. As usual I had to bring the camera along so here’s a few photo’s.

Sefton Park

Here’s a few photo’s from a recent family day out at Sefton Park. Although the weather wasn’t great and there is a lot of renovation work going on we still had a lot of fun. Hopefully we’ll be able to get the family together for a day out over the bank holiday weekend. Fingers crossed for good weather.

Recent Shoot

Here’s a few photo’s from a recent shoot. I now offer an evening photo shoot where I’ll even bring along a bottle of wine. This shoot costs just £40 for the session and is perfect if you can round up a few of your friends. Whether you just fancy a fun night in or perhaps you are all going on a night out and would like some photo’s taken beforehand. I’ll stay for a couple of hours and set up our mobile studio. I’ll then taken unlimited photo’s which I’ll then retouch and airbrush if necessary to give you that model look. You can then purchase any prints you like from the website.

Please contact me if you would like to book one of these sessions as availability is limited.
