Isaac

Here's a few photo's of my beautiful little boy, Isaac, playing at his Nanna & Grandads.
His grandad built him a swing although it took some coaxing before he would use it (teddy had a go first to test it).
He'll be two in a few months and I can't believe where the time has gone. I love being a photographer and capturing these moments forever, if memories fade I'll always have the pictures to look back on.

Kathryn & Gareth

Here are some of the photographs from Kathryn & Gareth's wedding. It was a lovely wedding in a beautiful location and fortunately the rain held off even providing the odd bit of sunshine.

The day ran smoothly with everybody enjoying themselves. As you can see in the photographs, the bride and groom are very much in love.

Thanks to Kayte for her assistance today, she has captured some beautiful images which I’m sure Kathryn & Gareth will love.

The wedding and reception took place at The Blue Coat School.

The Lakes

I was lucky enough to obtain a free place on the Annabel Williams marketing course presented by Catherine Connor and Jane Breakell. It’s a one day intensive course, I left feeling both drained but also full of ideas and optimism about my future in photography. Keep watching as there is going to be a lot of changes over the coming months.

Of course I had to take my camera along and capture a few images of the lakes. Oh and yes it rained, a lot.

I’ll definitely be booking another of the Annabel Williams courses in the near future. I am determined to bring my photography to the next level.

Angela & Ben

Today’s wedding saw extremes of the British weather. One minute I needed an umbrella the next it was blinding sunshine.
The bride was lucky to arrive during the sunshine unlike a lot of guests and some of her bridesmaids who got a bit of a soaking.
It was a lovely wedding and I look forward to seeing Angela & Ben again soon.

Wedding took place at St Benets Church and reception at The Holy Ghost Club.

Thanks to Lauren for her assistance today.

Clare & Phil

Here are some of the photographs from Clare and Phil’s wedding. They are the style and quality I have been working towards over the last year and aim to produce this standard for every couple.
This was partly thanks to the lovely weather, wedding locations and how relaxed Clare & Phil were during the day.
Let’s just hope they are as pleased with the pictures as I am.

Wedding took place at Caldy Church and the reception at Thornton Hall Hotel.
Thanks to Kim for her assistance today. Despite it being her first wedding she has produced some lovely images.

Madelainartz

A different job for me today as I photographed the artwork of talented local artist Madelaina Murthwaite.

Having never painted before, Madelaina was encouraged to pursue a future in the world of art and was told that she had 'a natural ability for Portraiture!' by Wirral Metropolitan College. Through her artwork, Madelaina hopes to raise funds for the Fibromyalgia Merseyside and Wirral Group.
Her Forthcoming Exhibition 'Beauty vs the Beast' is at The Liverpool Academy of Arts from 30th June to 11th July 2008.
Beauty vs the Beast will be a celebration of Madelaina's YEAR in Art.

WAS Charity Night

Last night was the charity night for the Wirral Autistic Society. Despite a low turnout it was a fantastic night with everybody having a great time. The band (Jazz Freaks) and singer (Ross) were excellent. Pictures from the photoshoot will shortly be available to purchase and 50% of all profit from the shoot will be donated to the charity. The current amount raised from the poker table and raffles stands at £150.

Photo's from this shoot are now available to purchase from the following website: http://www.photoboxgallery.com/kjp.

Barmouth

I've just returned from a camping weekend in beautiful Barmouth with some family and friends. I managed to restrain myself from spending the whole weekend taking pictures and just captured a few shots over the weekend. We had a fantastic time despite the typical UK weather which cannot make it's mind up. A windy but fun weekend, I can't wait until the next camping trip.
If you've never visited Barmouth, you are missing out on a wonderful location. Give the hot chocolate a try at the Davy Jones Locker mmmmmmmmm.
